If you are running AV, most AV detects all parts of sub7 as viruses and that may be what's not letting you run it. Disable your AV, if any, and download and try again.
stop using sub7 like a skiddie, download a programming ebook and learn a language, write your own trojan like a pro.

The thing about Tor is, in theory, they can't track it back to you. Not unless they control every single exit and entry node, and they don't control that. They'd need to control both types so they could both grab your IP, compare your data with the sent data, and then see what you were doing.So, long story short, Tor is fairly safe, yeah. There are no suitable alternatives yet. I trust Tor far more than I trust proxies.
